"Jie Ying is a very accommodative teacher. She is patient to my son when she was his piano accompanist for violin test preparation. She tailored lessons to fit my son’s needs and flexible to travel to different places for the practices and test. On the examination day, she assured my son that he will be alright. That is an important part to change a worried kid to a confident one. Thank you!"

- Hui Fung Teoh

"Recently had Ms Jie Ying as my piano accompaniment for my Violin ABRSM exam. The 2 weeks of practice with her was enjoyable and eye-opening.

Enjoyable; Ms Jie Ying was very VERY accommodative! During this short period, I tried to squeeze in as many practices as I could and she tried her best to accommodate to my tight schedule. I sent her the scores (10pages per piece) only 2 days prior to the practice, and she was able to play perfectly every time! She made practice very easy for me. Other than that, she is someone who you can communicate easily with — like a friend!

Eye-opening; I was able to learn so much during these 2 weeks! I did not have much experience with accompanists but Ms Jie Ying made the practice seem so natural which helped boost my confidence in my playing. She has good ears that were able to spot off beats and inaccurate notes.

If anything, I am grateful for her readiness and support through this stressful time. I live an hour away from her house. But I guarantee that her lessons are worth the travel! She is a great teacher that can also be a good friend. Jiayous, Ms Jie Ying!!💪💪😊"
